Transfers from Orly to La Defense By Train
An alternative option is to get the train from Orly to La Defense, although the journey is complex and requires many changes.
It begins by getting the Orlyval light rail from Orly Airport to Antony. This will allow you to connect with the broader Paris rail network. From here, swap to an RER B train to get to Chatelet – Les Halles. When you arrive, swap to an RER A train to get to Gare de La Defense. When you arrive at the La Defense station you will need to arrange alternative transport to get to your final destination if it is not within walking distance.
Given the number of changes required, we do not recommend this transport option. It will be particularly difficult for groups travelling with big luggage, small children or elderly passengers.
