Transfers from CDG Airport to Gare de l’Est By Train

There are two options if you would like to catch a train from CDG Airport to Gare de l’Est, although neither are as convenient as catching a taxi. Both options leave from the CDG Airport train station, which is located at Terminal 2.

Option 1

The first option requires you to catch an RER B train directly to Gare du Nord, then walk 0.5 miles to Gare de l’Est. For groups with young travelers or lots of luggage, this option may not be convenient.

Option 2

The second option requires a changing of trains. First, catch an RER B train to Denfert Rochereau. From here, swap to a metro train to Place d’Italie and then change to another metro to Gare de l’Est.
