Transfers from CDG Airport to Montmarte By Train

Alternatively you can travel from CDG Airport to Montmarte by train, although this will require a change and some walking. It is also worth bearing in mind that it is not uncommon for the trains to be busy and require you to stand so make sure you take this into consideration when travelling with children or elderly passengers.

Take a RER B train from Terminal 2 of CDG Airport towards Gare de Massy Palaiseau. This will take you to Gare du Nord Station. From here, walk 200m to catch a metro train to Chateau Rouge. From this station it is still another 600m walk to get to Montmarte, depending on your specific destination. It’s best to do some planning beforehand so you know exactly how long your walk will be.
