Transfers from CDG Airport to Versailles by Train

There are 3 different train options that will get you to Versailles, each departing from the RER station at CDG Airport which is located under Terminal 2.

Option 1

Firstly, catch the RER B to Massy Palaiseau. From here, you will need to change to the RER C to get to Versailles Chantiers.

Duration: 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Cost: 10€ for an adult ticket, 7€ for a child ticket.

Option 2

For this option, catch the RER B train to Chatelet-Les Halles. Change to the RER A train and disembark at La Defense, then walk to the STIF platform to get a train to Gare de Versailles Chantiers.

Duration: 1 hour and 13 minutes.

Cost: 10€ for an adult ticket, 7€ for a child ticket.

Option 3

The third option requires you to catch the RER B train to Denfert-Rochereau, then the Metro to Gare Montparnasse, and finally the SNFC to Gare de Versailles Chantiers.

Duration: 1 hour and 22 minutes.

Train is not recommended as a means of transport to Versailles from CDG Airport due the multiple changes and complexity of the trip. It would be particularly difficult with children or elderly passengers.
